Hi Ho...to the Pediatric ENT We Go

We met with Jonathan's Pediatrician today. The nurse who checked us in was in respritory care years ago and after listening to him when we walked in, was surprised to see his oxygen sats were at 100%. I'm thrilled that he is still doing so well despite moments of not sounding so well.

After listening to Jonathan's breathing, Dr. LeClair came to the conclusion we need to see a Pediatric ENT and have Jonathan scoped to see what is obstructing his airway.

We are hoping to rule out the possibility of this being a "progressive disorder" and indeed just being Laryngomalacia. After making some phone calls, Jonathan's Dr. was able to get in touch with Dr. Engliss at Children's Hospital who is an airway specialist. We are scheduled to meet with him at 2:00 tomorrow afternoon.

While I'm not looking forward to our little peanut having a scope put down his throat, I am looking forward to (hopefully) having some resolution & an accurate diagnosis.

Our bible study today focused on the importance and power of prayer. What a great opportunty to put that into practice.
