March for Babies ~ Timothy's Team

Today was the long awaited March for Babies in Seattle. The Curreys put so much into organizing "Timothy's Team" ~ what a special tribute to his life and the lives of so many other babies represented today. Ready for the big walk alongside Grandma and Grandpa HirstCurrey FamilyCrawford FamilyJennifer even made Jonathan a team shirt. He was quite excited for his first big walk.
James ran into a classmate of his, Andrew, who was walking in honor of his little brother born with cancer. We couldn't have had more perfect weather today! The kids were troopers, doing a great job on the 3.5 mile walk. We were such an amazing team that we even had police escorts following us at the end of the walk...well, OK....really that was because we were the very last people to cross the finish line :) It actually worked out perfectly! There weren't too many people left in the stadium as we returned for hotdogs, so the kids enjoyed running around (with what little energy they had left) and didn't have to wait in line for lunch!Jen and I with our two youngest - Jonathan and Mocha.
Two of our teammates even made it on the evening news tonight (a.k.a Grandma and Grandpa Hirst).

Boy it made my tear up just looking at all the pictures and watching the report. Thanks for posting that. It was fun to see your parents on there as well as Timothy on the shirts!
